“Spring Fling” Fundraiser
The “Spring Fling” is an annual event where parents, faculty, alumni and friends come together to support St. James while enjoying great food, cocktails and music. There is a live auction, as well as a silent auction, where patrons can bid on trips, wonderful merchandise, and children’s art projects. It is always an exceptionally fun event for everyone.
The proceeds from the Spring Fling directly impact our scholars by helping to fund technology in the classrooms, salaries and professional development for faculty, curricular materials, scholarships, grants and financial aid, along with athletics and other enrichment programs. Every dollar we make supports our scholars and has the impact to change our community for the best.
This event draws upon the creativity, vision and energy of the whole community. There is a job for everyone, from decorations, entertainment, solicitation of auction items and more. All committees are open and everyone is encouraged to find a place to join in, and bring a friend.
The 2017 Spring Fling was held Friday, March 31st at the Corpus Christi Country Club.
Our goal this year was to raise $145,000. Thank you to all our Table Sponsors, Live and Silent Auction Donors and Bid Board Donors for helping make this event a HUGE success! Information about Spring Fling
Individual Ticket Sales
Individual tickets purchased in advance are $75.00/person ($100/person at the door). Tickets can be purchased by check or cash and submitted to the School Office. (Please make checks payable to St. James Episcopal School). If you wish to purchase several tickets, please enclose a list of your guests with your payment. If you wish to make your purchase with a credit card online, a 3.95% convenience fee will be added to your bill, to directly offset charges St. James receives in order to provide that credit card service. If you would like to help underwrite the cost of our event this year, please consider sponsoring a table. Sponsorships help cover the cost of the food, music, faculty tickets, valet service, and decorations. These sponsorships are essential in helping us meet our goal and support the St. James mission. For more information and to reserve your table, please complete the attached 2017 Sponsorship Form and return it to the School. Live and Silent Auction Donations
The Live and Silent Auctions are the main attractions of our Spring Fling. The auctions feature exciting getaway trips, tickets to sporting events, wild game hunts, as well as gift items and opportunities from our local area businesses and shopping centers. If you would like to donate to one of our auctions, please complete the attached Spring Fling Auction Form and return it to the School.
