St. James Episcopal School is a Pre-Primary through 8th grade school that has shaped leaders in Corpus Christi and the surrounding community since 1946. St. James provides that unique combination of academic excellence, alongside strong spiritual formation, and sound physical development. Through our premier programs, we are developing scholars of all races, socio-economic backgrounds and religious affiliations into persons of high character and preparing them to be servant leaders in the local and global community. Many of our graduates move on to be valedictorians of the high school classes and excel in some of the most prestigious universities in the country.
The St. James Episcopal School mission is to develop each child to his or her fullest potential, spiritually, intellectually and physically – that each child may grow in grace, enjoy freedom through knowledge, and lead a healthy, productive and meaningful life.
St. James Episcopal School is accredited by the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools and licensed by the Texas Department of Family Protective Services. We are also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES). For more information, click here.
