What is the Annual Fund?
- A yearly fundraising campaign.
- The first and most important gift a donor can make to St. James Episcopal school each year.
What is the significance of the Annual Fund for St. James Episcopal School?
- Tuition dollars and fees do not cover all of the cost of a child’s education.
- The Annual Fund is an integral part of the School’s operating budget.
- This fund will provide 20% of the School’s annual revenue that tuition does not cover.
- Support of the Annual Fund enables expansion of the curricular offerings for all students
- Additional funds allow for attraction and retention of top quality instructional staff.
Why is parent participation so important?
- The Annual Fund participation measures how strongly St. James Episcopal School’s parents support the School.
- When we participate, regardless of the size of the gift, we demonstrate confidence in our School’s mission and education.
- A high participation rate will open opportunities for St. James to acquire additional funding from corporations and foundations.
- Parental support enables us to keep tuition costs affordable while maintaining quality.
- 100% of your donation is tax-deductible.
How much am I expected to give?
Only the individual donor can determine what amount is appropriate. The expectation level is that every family will participate at a level comfortable to them. The only gift that is too small is no gift at all! Your generosity will help to enhance and provide the extras that equate to an excellent educational experience.
