Tuition Assistance, open to all current and incoming students, includes:
Middle Income Opportunity Grant – Awarded to students in grades 3-8 whose parents fall between
the $60,000 and $115,000 income bracket. Parents and/or guardians must complete an application
(available in the School Office or on our website), submit a copy of your most recent income tax return to
the Business Office, and submit your child’s teacher recommendations from previous schools (only if a
new student applicant). Your child must complete an essay as instructed on the application and will be
required to participate in an interview. Grants of $3,250, $6,000, or $7,500 are awarded according to the
family size and number of children attending St. James.
Need-Based Financial Aid – Based upon financial need. Parents and/or guardians must apply online
Tuition Assistance, open to incoming NEW students, includes:
Support Active Military Grant (SAM Grant) – Available to military families currently serving and
stationed in the Corpus Christi area. Students must be developmentally and academically ready for the
rigors of a St. James education. Parents and/or guardians must complete an application (available in the
School Office or on our website) and proof of active military status (Military ID or orders). Student
applicants must submit school records and a completed teacher recommendation form to the Admissions
Director. Grants represent a 25% reduction in tuition for the first student, 35% reduction for two students,
and 45% reduction for three or more students.
